The online MLS degree program is designed to be a part-time, fully online program, comprised of 30 credits, 6 credits per term, and can be completed in two years. **The non-Ohio resident surcharge is $3.85 per credit. The State of Ohio mandates the addition of a surcharge for tuition paid by out-of-state students to be determined by the institution and approved by the Board of Trustees.

Financial Aid

There are a number of resources available to you when evaluating how to pay for your master’s degree. Some tuition assistance programs might be available to you through your employer, external scholarships, military and veteran benefits, or federal financial aid programs. 

As a graduate student at Cleveland State University, you are eligible to apply for Federal Financial Aid. Applying is easy and free and can be done by filling out the FAFSA. Our Federal School Code is 003032.
