**The non-Ohio resident surcharge is $3.85 per credit. The State of Ohio mandates the addition of a surcharge for tuition paid by out-of-state students to be determined by the institution and approved by the Board of Trustees.
Cleveland State University College of Law offers a limited number of merit scholarships for the Online MLS Program. These scholarships are awarded based on the review of your application and the admissions requirements you submit alongside your application. There is no dedicated application form for the merit scholarship. Students who are awarded merit scholarships are notified about the amount of those scholarships in their offer of admission letter. To be considered for a merit scholarship, students should apply early, before the priority application deadline for the upcoming term.
There are a number of resources available to you when evaluating how to pay for your master’s degree. Some tuition assistance programs might be available to you through your employer, external scholarships, military and veteran benefits, or federal financial aid programs.
As a graduate student at Cleveland State University, you are eligible to apply for Federal Financial Aid. Applying is easy and free and can be done by filling out the FAFSA. Our Federal School Code is 003032.
